Are the classes Hot, Heated, etc.?
We do not offer hot(108 degrees) classes. All vinyasa classes are heated to 80-85 degrees, yin and restorative classes are 75-80 degrees.

What is the studio like?
We have made a little video just to familiarize you with our studio before you arrive. Check it out.

Do I need to be a member or sign up before attending class?
No you do not.  Even if we provide this service you will always be able to drop-in, first come, first serve. If you prefer to be sure to find space and not have to create an account before class just use our app to sign up for a class, no membership required.

Help! I can’t figure out how to sign up or use the app!
Don’t worry, we have created a page with detailed instructions just for you.

What do I need to bring?
We provide mats, towels, and showers so just bring yourself and your can-do attitude.

What do people wear to class?
Yoga pants or shorts.  Bra tops and/or close fitting shirts are helpful because you spend a good bit of time upside down.  No special clothes are required, just wear something that you will be comfortable moving around in.

How early do I need to arrive for my first class?
If you have never been to the studio please plan to arrive 15 minutes early so that you can get any of your questions answered and settle in to a location in the classroom that is your choice. Doors lock 5 minutes after class begins.

What are the best beginning classes?
We have several options depending upon how comfortable you are in a group setting, to get more information about your options please visit our foundations page.

What if I just cannot do certain movements or poses because of injuries or restrictions?
All of our teachers are highly trained and will give modifications for most poses or different ways of getting into and out of poses. We also have many props to modify poses that you are welcome to use. However your safety is out number one concern: if you are not sure about doing something please feel free to take a break or do an alternate pose or movement that you can safely do.
