Have been attending Yoga Lab since it’s inception and Pilar being the incredible person, yogi, teacher she is has... created a warm and welcoming milieu for all to enjoy. I am really grateful to be a part of the community as I’ve gotten to witness the growth of yoga in Birmingham over the past 10 years. That said, in any class it’s great when you can see the teachers passion and piety to the subject as it compels the students to challenge themselves. Pilar and really all the teachers at yoga lab are a solid paradigm for other studios to follow. All the classes and teachers bring diversity , and may challenge our physical movement in different ways , however , they all understand the one constant, perhaps more paramount than the movement, being the breath.read more

Do yourself a FAVOR and experience the Yoga Lab once, a world class studio that embraces the HEART of the CITY and... every benefit a Yoga practice has to OFFER.Pilar is that yoga instructor people follow wherever she goes typically after attending the first class (me being one). She revolutionized my health, wellness, and athleticism. During the Pandemic I was fortunate to attend two classes with two new instructors (ELLEN & KAT) both were a ten out of ten, I felt 100% safe with the necessary precautions implemented and honestly both classes were as satisfying as any of Pilar's class. I have zero doubt any instructor that's Pilar approved that the class will be a grateful experience.To know the Yoga Lab will thrive through the pandemic was such an ultimate relief!!! However this was no suprise despite being "the newest yoga studio in town" that opened days before an unprecedented virus that ravaged the world. The owner Pilar and her husband embody local business and define genuine authenticity in anything they create or a part of in the Birmingham Yoga Community.read more
